  • OpenBCI wants to sell us OpenBCI Cyton for 1000 USD
  • This is too expensive for some Aliexpress seller, therefore they started to manufacture the OpenBCI boards themselves from Cyton Gerber files files and sell it for 230 USD
  • we compete with all and say that the best solution is to have our own Gerber file
  • Rainer Blind delvelops aTrainingTracker, the android app for the really serious althlete
  • Rainer Blind is from Germany, the Germans are also very competitive. Rainer saw, that his app is not competitive anymore, and put it on his GITHUB site
  • We mentioned this in the Garmin forum. This was too much for Garmin forum moderator TRUX, and he deleted our posts, locked our account, and entilted us a spammer. We do not know to which party he belongs, the legal case with TRUX is open. But the case between and the Garmin forum und us has ended. The Garmin forum is not competitive enough for us anymore.
  • a training tracker is great for foot pods, but it is an android app
  • we have discussed here several options to get access to distance data from a foot pod
  • A standard foot pod is a simple device, we think the most straight forward solution is to build a simple open source foot pod, which somebody has already done with running power. We can do without running power

Stryd already has build a new and complicated foot pod from scratch. Stryd reacted nervously, as we asked for a Stryd foot pod with MQTT, therefore to build one from scratch is for us personally the most straight forward solution. It does not have to be one which competes with Stryd for practicing walking meditation.

But this foot pod instruction looks as if it was from a computer scientist. If How To Electonics in India makes a review about it, whe where interested in the device.
