“Most bluetooth keyboards and mouse should work. But here’s a few tips based on my experience.

  • As much as possible avoid BLE (Bluetooth low energy?) because although it works, reconnecting is wonky and sometimes crashes the bluetooth driver. It looks reconnected but cursor won’t work. Not sure if it’s better with newer BT versions. My mouse has multiple connections, wireless dongle, BT 3.0 and BLE.
  • Mouse with extra buttons can also be problematic on UT because UT seem to detect them as keyboard as well and when you disconnect, OSK won’t be displayed even though there’s no external keyboard connected. This won’t be a big issue with OTA 12 though because there’s now a toggle to display OSK even with an external display connected.
  • Bluetooth 5 seems to be slower to reconnect. Not sure why.”
