The Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) is as far as we know one of the view research institutes with an ongoing long-term meditation research project. Richard Davidson says that a daily practice of 20 min meditation leads to changes in the brain which can be objectively measured. According to the research of the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) did during the last view years on YouTube and in the internet, we are asking: is a meditator who meditates only 20 min. daily more than a «hobby meditator»?
According to our data we found what is requires to be a professional meditator or a world renowned spiritual teacher such as Yogi Bhajan, Thích Nhất Hạnh, the Dalai Lama the 14 th or Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche we estimate that this requires around 13 years full time training and then 4 hours training each day for the rest of our lives.
Unfortunately, the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) has not yet reliable data to publish this hypothesis in Nature. Eventually someone else does it. And as long as the MRIS is not able to publish papers in journals like Nature, but only white papers on our personal website:
As long as we do not have data published in high quality journals, how can we ever get a research grant to answer further questions, and how can we finance 256 channel EEG devices and fMRI brain scanners and trained persons for data analysis for our research projects?
So the only thing we can do is to start small but think big and promote long-term meditation studies starting with OpenBCI 16 channel with WIFI shield:
And to see what we we can do with it. Is this not something which is also affordable for people without grant for research?
