Krisztián Hofstädter is a Hungarian interdisciplinary researcher living in England. His main focus is on using sound to induce and maintain altered states of consciousness. On the other hand Krisztián has also the skills of an entertainer as you can see in this video:

We became interested in Krisztián Hofstädter OpenBCI setup with the Greentek Gelfree S3 cap after his posts in the www.OpenBCI.com forum. But after all of we experienced with demos what we have published in or journal we are asking the question:

  • Did Krisztián Hofstädter receive OpenBCI modules and the Greentek Gelfree S3 for free in exchange for reviews and papers?
  • In none of Krisztián Hofstädter publications is written that he has no conflict of interest.
  • If he terefore a a paid promotional reviewer from a legal point of view?
  • If he is an independent researcher why does he then hide the signal behind his head so that we have to have a very close look to see that he uses only 2 channels in OpenBCI GUI? His OpenBCI setup which has 8 channels, OpenBCI has up to 16 channels and the Greentek Gelfree S3 cap has at least 24 channels. Why did Krisztián not use the maximal of channels which are possible? Did he have issues with the cap?
