Elevate Your Meditation: devices for meditators on a budget

Here is the video of Cody Rall MD which show how to Elevate Your Meditation: Brainwave Mapping on a Budget

But in contrast do Coady Rall we do not want to supercharge our brains. Is a supercharged brain a healthy brain?

In contrast to Coady, we do not want a supercharged brain. We want a healthy mind, inner peace, we want to become happy and life our lives guided by intuition. But according to our own little experience meditators who cannot relax can also choose a Garmin watch to meditate. Broadcoast your heart rate over ANT+ and use the Android app ANT+ heart rate grapher:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsi.ant.antplus.grapher.heartrate&hl=en_US

The lower your heart rate is, the more relaxed you are as a rule of thumb. Then you can see if you have a normal resting heart rate which is according to Garmin between 60 and 100:

https://www.garmin.com/en-US/garmin-technology/health-science/heart-rate-monitoring/

or your heart rate is higher.

Olympic level athlethes have resting heart rates of down to 40.

DC Rainmaker wrote on his blog, if his resting heart is higher than 40 he is overtrained or overstressed. Is he a olympic level YouTube video maker?

A tool to track your resting heart rate is also the Garmin activity tracking dashboard. If you wear a Garmin watch 2 * 7 you can see graphs in Garmin connect which show how your heart rate evolves over time. Unfortunately, the heart rate of Garmin watches are not validated scienitifically. We do not know of any papers which validates the Garmin resting heart rate scientifally. A new Garmin watch costs about the same as a new Muse headband. But you can find tons of used Garmin watches for instance on Ricardo Switzerland and eBay.
