AsteroidOS is a Linux-based operating system for smartwatches. The open source project initiated by Florent Revest in 2015 is based on OpenEmbedded, Qt and Wayland.[2]:

Did Google wanted to get rid of AsteroidOS and therefore hired Revest? If so, it is time that Rob Braxman takes over AsteroidOS:

And makes out of it a privacy smartwatch which is free from Google.
