In The Mind’s Own Physician:

A Scientific Dialogue with the Dalai Lama on the Healing Power of Meditation

The Dalai Lama the 14. asked scientists as Richard Davidson to investigate topics like these scientifically, to bring it on a secular basis and if it is effective to spread it widely. But do we have a scientific proof of all of these statements? A scientific method which can be taught? A method how mental health can be trained? And a method which can also be prescribed by medical doctors? There are a view, put much more could be done to investigate topics like these scientifically, to find methods which are scientific and to spread those widely.
