Xiaomi treadmill with Home Assistant or treadmill controller with Arduino or TreadTracker & a training tracker?

Xiaomi treadmills as this one:

can be controlled in Home Assistant which is eventually one of the easiest solutions which is available to control a treadmill:

or only using Python. But the weight of the Xiaomi treadmill is only 38 kg. On the contrast the GE case treadmills weight is 181.4 kg:

this is 4.5 times heavier. And we suppose that the weight somehow correlates with the quality and stablity of a treadmill:

How to control a treadmill is a whole science:

If you have time for it, go for it. But we eventually grab the TreadTracker we bought on Ricardo Switzerland last year for 30 USD from the screed and use it with our Newgen Medical treadmill and connect it to Dr. Ing. Rainer Blinds a training tracker to use it as a scientific treadmill monitor. DC Rainmaker tested the TreadTracker on his treadmill and the accuracy compared to the mathematically calcutated distance was about 98 % on a distance of 100 m:

This also about the level of our scientific knowledge how to calculate the accuracy of a treadmill speed sensor. We are happy with this solution for the time being and practice meditation as taught by Osho:

until we find a better solution.
