We where interested in the Greentek Gefree S3 cap presented by Krisztián Hofstädters and discussed with him about it. But why then where the demo videos removed from his channel? And why was it picked up then by mBrainTrain? Is this all controlled by a marketing software and a marketing trust? Did Greentek offer Krisztián Hofstädter the cap in exchange for a demo? And has Greentek sensors the rights over the YouTube videos? Was it all controlled by Greentek Sensors?
- Was it Greentek who did this wo offered the cap to Krisztián Hofstädter as a demo?
- After we looked closely at the YouTube demos of Krisztián Hofstädter with the EEG cap, we sah that Krisztián used only 2 EEG channels.
- In the demos of mBrainTrain we can see only short periods where the cap is working.
- Only two videos remain onc Krisztián Hofstädters YouTube channel, one with the Greentek cap:
https://www.youtube.com/@krishofstadter
- The videos where removed after we showed interest in the cap.
Now we have a paper from Serbia and Slowenia which use the cap, but from no other authors from other countries.
Why did the cap migrate from UK to Serbia and Slowenia?
- The cap is now used in this PLOS ONE paper with children:
https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0252622
- A hypothesis is that Greentek offered the cap to mBrainTrain as a demo device after they found out that we are interested in this cap to use with EEG devices with a higher channel number.
- But why do not other papers from Western countries use this cap?
