OpenBCI does not offer the OpenBCI Wifi shield anymore since a long time.
If we study the www.openbci.com forum, we find only very rarely people who develop OpenBCI further. In the OpenBCI forum, the OpenBCI Wifi shield was repaired. But then it did not came onto the market again.
Instead the Neurosity Crown came onto the market which includes the OpenBCI Wifi shield and has 8 EEG channels.
And the OpenBCI Galea came onto the market which contains the OpenBCI Wifi shield and has 16 EEG channels.
Chinese developers offer the OpenBCI Wifi shield on Aliexpress and eBay. They offer repaired shields, but only a demo. They seem to look for special costumers with special contracts. But more interesting would be for us personally a community who is able to repair the OpenBCI Wifi shield which is sold on eBay and Aliexpress according to the instructions given in the www.openbci.com forum, as well as on www.petergamma.org tag “OpenBCI Wifi Shield”
This would increase the value of of www.openbci.com a lot.
