To stack PiEEG shields or to build a Pi cluster with PiEEG shields: what is the better solution?

PiEEG shields can stack:

So in theory we only need one Raspberry Pi and then we can stack multiple PiEEG shields. But does this not make data analysis difficult?

To build an OpenBCI setup which consists of OpenBCI and InfluxDB a hardware modification would be necessary so that all the EEG channels sample at exactly the same time. If we want to sample data from stacked PiEEGs, is this possible at all?

But if we build Pi clusters with individual PiEEG shields, can we not snychronize the individual Pi’s so that they sample at exactly the same time? And if we have data on different Pi’s which are put together in a cluster which are sampled at exactly the same time can we not stream the EEG data to a Pi which runs for instance Home Assistant where we can inject the EEG data to have all EEG channels in InfluxDB and the EEG data are synchronized.

If we are able to solve this problem then we have eventually the most affordable low-cost high-quality multi-sensor EEG heatset on the planet which can have as much EEG channels as necessary.
