The tragedy of Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche & Meditation Research in the year 2024

Last Updated on February 19, 2024 by pg@petergamma.org

Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche studied Tibetan Buddhims from books in solitary retreat for 13 years, until he wanted to stay there for the rest of his life:

Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche became the teacher of Matthieu Ricard PhD. Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org has read this books about Happiness and Meditation. Dilgo Khyentse became one of the most important teacher for the Dalai Lama the 14.. The Dalai Lama asked Richard Davidson to do scientific studies about meditation. Richard Davison did this and published a PNAS paper:

Then Richard Davison founded the center of Healthy Minds with 100 people working there. Now Richard Davidson sells «Altered Traits» to Swiss meditators at Landguet Ried in Berne, Switzerland:

The Meditation Research Institute at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama in India was founded somewhere after 2004, after Richard Davidsons PNAS paper was founded. The Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) suspects that the Meditation Research Institute at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama in India was founded to sell outdated Biosemi Active Two amplifiers with 8 channels for 10 000 USD to the MRIS. The MRIS rather would buy OpenBCI made in China EEG modules with 8 channels for 230 USD, the cable version, and repair it for it s research projects than buying Biosemi amplifiers. This would save them 9 770 USD for each device to get a device with similar specifications.

Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche is the incarnation of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche who passed away in 1991 at the age of 81.

The Meditation Research Institute at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama in India has not published any papers since a long time. And the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) does not know it it will publish ever any scientific papers. But Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org still appreciates the teachings of Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche, which are not funded partly by Polar, Matlab, or Biosemi, but are grounded partly on the teachings of Milarepa:

Even in the year 2024 Sadhguru from India teaches about Milarepa. Jetsün Milarepa (Tibetan རྗེ་བཙུན་མི་ལ་རས་པ Wylie rje btsun mi la ras pa; born 1040; died 1123) was a tantric master and founder of the Kagyü schools of Tibetan Buddhism. He was the tantric yogi who carried on Marpa’s Mahamudra lineage. He is considered one of the greatest yogis and ascetics in Tibet. He is also considered Tibet’s greatest poet.

Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche still teaches the teaching of Milarepa in the year 2023, 1000 years after Milarepa has died. But Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org does not know if the papers which have been published by meditation reserachers in the year 2024 will be still read in the year 2124. Therefore Milarepa is for Peter Gamma a more important author than many authors which write scientific papers about meditation research in the year 2024, papers which are partly funded by sellers of physiological sensor devices.
