The Gradual and Complete Path to Enlightenment with Peter Gamma, Physiologist & Director of Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS)

Last Updated on March 28, 2024 by pg@petergamma.org

Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org will not study the whole «Gradual and Complete Path to Enlightenment 1/13 with Ven. Robina Courtin at Lhagsam Tibetan Meditation in Zurich»:

And he will not use Robert Oostenveld Fieldtrip toolbox either:

But we welcome you at www.petergamma.org as well to join us in our development.

Currently we use a

Garmin Fenix 6

and a

Newgen Medicals Foldable Treadmill Treadmill LF-203

and we do

Stair climbing

  • We think this is a good training also for older people as long as they can do it, and to do it as long as we can in our lifes. Garmin Connect suggests Peter Gamma to climb 10 floor each day.

Walking meditation

  • Walking mediation is one of the activities Matthieu Ricard, Buddhist monk with a PhD. in cellular genetics describes in his books as a training to master our mind. Garmin Connect suggests Peter Gamma to walk 5580 stepts each day.

Breath meditation

  • Breath mediation is one of the activities Matthieu Ricard, Buddhist monk with a PhD. in cellular genetics describes in his books as a training to master our mind. And we would like to mention to watch the videos of Osho about breath meditation which are discussed there:

Dissussion of the different activities

  • we can check the stair climbs and the walking meditation in Garmin Connect, where we also have our resting heart rate.
  • Furthermore we have a TreadTracker speed sensor connected to the a training tracker Android app of Dr. Ing. Rainer Blind..
  • This should be a bit more accurate than the Fenix 6 on the treadmill, but we do not have tested this and calibrated it yet.
  • Furthermore we cannot do any further data analysis with a training tracker, since the app does not offer this. But it offers .txt files on the smartphone, which is better than nothing.
  • We will build up our own gradual and complete database
  • and the setup must be a setup which is research and medical grade:
  • and open source and affordable if possible.

We welcome you @ www.petergamma.org and invite you to join our developments.
