Many years ago we have read in a scientific paper (was it a paid promotional paper paid by Texas Instruments?) the fairy tale, that it is not possible to build EEG devices with 8 channels for less than 1000 USD.
Several years later, a view PiEEG’s where with 4 channels where offered to us for 450 USD:
But they where then immediately pulled from the market again. And Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org expects to hear the same fairy tale again he heard several years ago, and that is now again that it is not possible to build an 8 channel EEG device from PiEEG with 8 channels for 450 USD, with next day delivery shipped by DHL.
But that it is not possible to build an affordable EEG device with 8 channels is only a fairy tale. And Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org knows this for sure. It is eventually not possible to build multi-sensor EEG devices with 8 channels for less than 1000 USD and to make money out of this.
