Robert Oostenveld about OpenBCI Cyton: «For me it felt that I was spending more time trying to debug than doing EEG, hence I moved on to other systems»

Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org found this information Robert Oostenveld gave him a while ago very helpful.

For Peter it felt that he was spending a lot of time reviewing EEG devices he found on YouTube and in the web during the last more than four years on www.petergamma.org.

But he never found an EEG device which would fit into the Home Lab of a physiologist who lives in a house where also other scientists live, who work for the Swiss Federal Institute of Switzerland in Zurich:

Robert Oostenveld moved to the Unicorn Black EEG headset by g.tec medical, as he writes on his blog, a device which he reviewed on his site. Peter has not yet tested or reviewed the Unicorn Black, and he does not know if he ever will do this.

Peter currently owns two EEG devices. A Muse 2 headband which he tested once or twice. And a Muse S he tested only once to track his sleep. But he never used these EEG devices for practicing meditation. He currently meditates assisted by devices which are very basic. And it remains his secret which devices these are for the time being.
