Among the EEG devices which cost up to 50 000 USD, is there a device which stands out and can be recommended to evyone?

If the following problem could be solved:

Raspberry Pi’s with PiEEG could be such a device. This setup could be a building block for EEG devices with as much EEG channels is required.

  • This setup could be a building block for EEG devices with as much EEG channels is required.
  • Currently OpenBCI offers more software options than PiEEG. But the architecture of PiEEG is simpler.
  • Currently only PiEEG with 4 channels are available right now, PiEEG with 8 channels: orders placed now ship Apr 29, 2024:

  • PiEEG offers Python software

PiEEG could be used for instance with NME Python:

Or eventually also connected to OpenBCI GUI:

If you are a soft- and hardware developer PiEEG could eventually be a new and interesting platform.
