The Buddha’s enlightenment was the moment Siddhartha Gautama woke up spirtually. It happened while he sat meditating under a tree. He realized the root cause of all human suffering and the path to completely end it. This awakening made him the Buddha:
And was not also the Buddha the author of the following statement:
“We are only completely mentally healthy if we are completely enlightened.”
Richard R. Davidson and Daniel Goleman wrote a popular scientific books about meditation research:
But if someone does research about meditation, is not the hot topic enlighenement? But what does Daniel Golemann say about enlightenement?“
„We do not know how this is experientially. Science has never seen it before. We do not know, but we know that it is quiet extraordinary“
And in talks about „Altered Traits“ they say about meditators for instance from India:
“These are at the far end of a scale“.
„In India there are people who do meditate all the time“.
“We cannot do this, we have day time jobs”
Richard R. Davidson, Daniel Goleman and Matthieu Ricard have sold their popular scientifc books now during the last 20 years:
Was it their goal already 20 years ago when they started this project planned together with some economists to sell as many books as possible?

To sell as many books as possible before they die? Since which Tibetan Lama or wich Tibetan Teacher except for Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche who also sold best-selling books talks about Richard Davidson and his group, and his meditation research project?
Did these people not miss the point of the Dalai Lama the 14 th completely wo initiatied these scientific studies?
They invited the Dalai Lama on a regular basis to Madison-Wisconsin where they have these brain scanners and do their scientific studies. But in interviews the Dalai Lama seemed not even to unterstand what they are actually doing threre. We reported about this on www.petergamma.org. And is this not very strange, that the man who initiated a project cannot follow these people?
