This is a desperate thought a physiologist from Switzerland who tries to lower the costs for this setup:
This is the most cost-effective device I can currently imagine to lower this costs to use it in a home lab, using this treadmill:
And this is also a setup which I can imagine to build at home sooner or later. But hand made in Switzerland because of the monopole from Texas Instruments?
The problem is the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments.
Many avoid this chip since there seems to be a monopole on it from Texas Instruments. Nobody has cloned this chip to this date. Other chips which can be used for physiology are cloned and much cheaper.
