Does BrainFlow work with the Muse 2? – what does Andrey say in the BrainFlow Slack about this topic?

Federico, 2 month ago:

  • Hello, I have started to use Brainflow recently with the Muse 2 headband.
  • When I look at get_board_descr the EEG channels names are ‘TP9, Fp1, Fp2, TP10’.
  • Howerver, in the Muse website they indicate that the electrodes are located at ‘TP9, Af7, Af8, TP10’ (Af’s instead of Fp’s).
  • I just wanted to check if it is just a mistake in the notation given by get_board_descr.

Andrey’s answer in the BrainFlow Slack (two month ago)

  • I didnt check their website and probably wrote this based on my own guess.
  • Dont think that it matters too much, its still close and just two sensors in that part of the head.

Peter Gamma’s question at www.petergamma.org:

Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org thanks Andrey for supporting the Muse 2 in the BrainFlow Slack. But is there already an example with the Muse 2 & BrainFlow which demonstrates the function of BrainFlow with the Muse 2?
