To build a low-cost high-quality 32 channel EEG headset from four PiEEG’s easier than from 4 TI ADS1299EEG-FE boards?

We continue this discussion we started here:

To build a low-cost high-quality 32 channel EEG headset from PiEEG & daisy chain?

We do not know if building up a 32 channel EEG headset from four 8 channel PiEEGs does not necessarily require daisy chain as it was used in the paper mentioned above. The requirement is that all channels are sampled at exactly the same time to get all the parameters such as phase, coherence, etc. Is a setup with four Pi’s with PiEEGs not easier than the setup used in the above paper?
