It’s about this historic house: the Grand Hôtel Sonnenberg in Seelisberg UR. The hotel has an eventful history behind it. It was created in 1875. It has belonged to a yogi movement since 1972. Now it has been announced: the historic hotel near the Rütliwiese is being sold. Fears immediately arise that powerful foreign investors will grab the pearl.
Franz-Xaver Leonhardt heads the Krafft hotel and catering group in Basel. He recently registered the company Historic Hotel AG in the commercial register with a share capital of over 250,000 francs. The aim of the AG: Prevent further losses of historic Swiss hotels. The company’s immediate aim is to acquire historic hotels.
