Why it is better to disappear like a ghost in the meditation scene Switzerland as the inconspicuous Martin Frischknecht does than standing out as the people of Lhagsam Tibetan Meditation in Zürich do?

Martin Frischknecht from the Spuren Magazin is a really inconspicuous person. Even to find a picture of him in the web is difficult:

https://spuren.ch/ueber-uns/redaktion

There was once in interview by Martin Frischknecht with Jack Kornfield. But soon after it has been released, the video has disappeared again. Isn t that a pity? Martin Frischknecht from the www.spuren.ch magazine is one of the key writers about meditation in Switzerland. But how to live from writing about meditation?

Nobel Prize Winner in Literature Elias Canetti said he made a living from translating books. And next to that he became a Nobel Prize Winner in literature? Is this not hard to believe? Was he not rather a member of a rich family? As molecular Biologist Charles Weissmann was a member of a from a rich family as well. Weissman who was hunting for a Nobel Prize also.

But back to Martin Frischknecht. It is difficult to find information in the web about Martin Frischknecht. But it can happen to you that you meet Martin Frischknecht personally. This happened to Peter Gamma from www.petergamm.org A friend of him asked him to come with him to the man s workshop in Zurich. And Peter went there with him. And they both visited a course of Martin Frischknecht with the title:

Write yourself free

A group of about 5 men visited Martin Frischknechts course as well, and the course was really great. But where can we find the next course of Martin Frischknecht about writing?

What is really extraordinary about Martin Frischknecht that he was a student of Osho. And Osho said he was a rich man s Guru

So as a logical consequence, Swiss writer about the meditation scene Switzerland Martin Frischknecht is a rich guy. But still he remains inconspicuous. To be rich is nice. So why should a rich guy stand out? And if Martin Frischknecht with his Spuren Magazin would stand out, would he then be forced to write for the „New York Times“ about meditation? We observed similar phenomenon with other rich guys from Switzerland. It seems that these guys want to be inconspicuous.

But people who stand out are the people from Lhagsam Tibetan Meditation in Zurich. On a weekly basis, teachers from all around the world fly to Zurich and back to give a talk at Lhagsam. Who spent s so much money for recording YouTube videos in Zurich? Videos which could be recorded easily for instance in London as well, from where some teacher come to Zurich to record these videos.

So are the visitors of the Lhagsam Meditation in Zurich similar to Osho s students? They offered him Rolls Royce for his teachings. But exactly this ruined the reputation of Osho and this students. The „Rich man s Guru“ Osho became controversial. Not only for this, but also for other reasons.

And a similar thing seems to happen with the people of Lhagsam Meditation in Zurich. If you read www.petergamma.org about Lhagsam, aren t there some things controversial?

For instance, we have the highly qualified Tibetan Lama Pema Wangyal who lives near Zurich. Lama Pema Wangyal seems to have to take every job which is offered to him, such as for instance paragliding on the Pilatus for YouTube:

And as a consequence, Lhagsam in Zurich becomes controversial for not co-operating with Lama Pema Wangyal to find a better solution for all involved persons. Lack of money seems not to be the problem of Lhagsam So where else is it then the problem of Laghsam? But still the visitors of Laghsam Meditation in Zurich stand out with their YouTube channel. They spend a lot of money for Lagsham, but on YouTube we can see that hardly anyone seems to visits Lhagsam. Are the visitors of Lhagsam as the students of Osho who ruin their reputation? On the contrast, Osho student Martin Frischknecht wo is a bit older and more experienced in live disappeared like a ghost:

Rob Braxman teaches us how to disappear like a ghost.

And Peter Gamma from www.petegamma.org has learned a lot from Rob Braxman.

And a master in disappearing like a ghost is the unconspicous writer about meditation in Switzerland Martin Frischnecht. And is disappearing like a ghost not a good stragedy for people like Martin Frischknecht? Is this not better than being in the news like Osho and his students, who where controversial? And would this not be better also for the people of Lhagsam?

Aren t many things in the field of meditation research, mental health, spiritual teachers, etc. in Switzerland controversial, a lot of things which became popular with for instance Osho and Richard Davidson? Topics which are of interest for the general public. But where these topics not also miss-used by book sellers for selling books, manipulate us, especially those with mental issues? Many of these questions we asked on www.petergamma.org are open.

Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org is the Director of the Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS). The MRIS is a private project of Peter on his personal website. And Peter writes his website at home.

But Peter will follow the example of Martin Frischknecht and disappear like a ghost as well. Peter was recently interrogated by the Swiss Police if Peter works or not:

But Peter has privacy rights. The Police has no right to know what Peter does at home. And in general Peter has the right to refuse to give an answer to the Police about if he works or not. The Police has only the right to know his name, his address, and to see his ID. And except from that the Police has basically no other rights to know something about Peter and what he does in his life.
