  • The holy Spirit community in Hünenberg ZG is funded from Church taxes:
  • There were over 6,000 monasteries in Tibet.
  • However, nearly all of these were destroyed.
  • Most of the major monasteries have been at least partially re-established, while many others remain in ruins.
  • Tibetan Buddhism has four major schools, namely:
  • Nyingma (8th century),
  • Kagyu (11th century),
  • Sakya (1073),
  • and Gelug (1409).
  • Whe have the Catholic Church in Switzerland.
  • We have the Protestant Church in Switzerland
  • These two institutions have been established since hunderts to thousand of years.
  • In Switzerland the best known place for Tibetan Budhhism is the Rikon Tibet Institute Monastry.
  • It was founded in 1968

Pema Wangyal lived there for 17 years as a Buddhist monk and was trained and educated there:

  • Pema Wangyal has moved out recently of the Tibet Institute in Rikon Monastry and opened a meditation center:
  • But is this not very difficult for someone like Pema Wangyal from Tibet to make a living from in Switzerland as the founder of a meditation center?
