In 1970 Gesche Rinpoche he came to Switzerland.

He initially earned his living as a factory worker in Weisslingen. For seven years he stands on the assembly line full of cheerfulness and hard work.

Weisslingen is 5 minutes by car to the Rikon fabric shop.
Rikon is known worldwide for rikon steam cookers, and Weisslingen is 5 minutes by car to the Rikon Tibet Institute Monastry.
Jacques Kuhn was the developer of the “Duromatic” pressure cooker from Kuhn Rikon.
In the 1960s Kuhn Rikon supported the founding of the Rikon Tibet Institute monastry.
