Meditation based in scientific findings

We have many scientific studies who offer those. But do we have a break-trough regarding this topic on a global level? Dilgo Khyentse Rhinpoche meditated 20 years in cave before he gave the following advice:

And meditated a total of 20 years of his life:

Who is able to do this? Only wealthy people or people who are supported by wealthy people? We have other great meditators such as Buddha, Shantideva, Milarepa, but also Jesus, Niklaus von Flue and Holy Meinrad in Switzerland, as well as Osho who called himself a meditation teacher for rich people.

Meditation only for rich people? But where not many of the monks in Tibet or Nepal from families who cannot nurture all of ther children?

We have meditators in Switzerland who meditated for more than 10 years in meditation retreat centers:

Some of them eventually also wealthy people or people who are supported by wealthy people.

The Dalai Lama the 14.th recommends not to retreat completely for meditation. And then spread the meditation practice on our whole lifes? But how long does this take?

And do we have scientific data as a basis for such statements? How long does someone have to meditate to have a meditative break-trough at the level of a Dilgo Khyentse Rhinpoche based on scientific findings? Is what Dilgo Khyentse Rhinpoche experienced reproducable?

We have again and again wealthy people who go to a meditation retreat eventually their whole life. Is this not aleady a proof that money alone cannot make you happy?

If we would have the scientific data of 17 Dilgo Khyentse Rhinpoche’s published in Nature and Science, tracked as a lifetime journey we would have the scientific data. We have countless of schools and meditative practices, but we have only view practices on scientific findings.

If we would have these scientific data would this not trigger a change in how we look at mental healt issues, if we would have a proof that mental health can be trained? Or that happiness or well-being can be trained based on scientific findings?
