- Is he hiding, that the uses a wired usb keyboard with nub which is quiet large to be used it with the PinePhone, so he shows us only the upper part?
- Is he also hiding, that at the lower part of the keyboard it is labeled “Thinkpad”? Oh now, at a second look, we can see that Martijns keyboard is labeled with “Thinkpad” at the bottom. But at the first look it looks like a “special mini PinePhone keyboard with nob”.
- After we where looking for an usb keyboard with nub we suppose that Martijn Braam is hiding that he uses a Lenovo Thinkpad Compact USB Keyboard with TrackPoint for PC/Mac:
- We could not find a better usb keyboard with nub than the one we found which looks similar to the keyboard Martijn Braam uses for his PinePhone dock presentation.
- We are happy to find this keyboard after a closer look to Martijn Braam’s video, since we suppose it should also be an usb keyboard which fits well to a LattePanda V1 running Lubuntu and a 7 inch touch display as an alternative for the PinePhone for users who are looking for an affordable solution for mobile computing:
- We are very grateful to Martijn Braam who helped us to to find a great usb keyboard which fits very well for our needs.
- The Lenovo ThinkPad Compact USB Keyboard with TrackPoint (Belgian/French) can be bought for 83.90 SFR from Digitec Switzerland (currently unavailable):
A mini usb keyboard with a nub integrated is great for a PinePhone as well as for a LattePanda V1, since we want as little connectors for these small devices as possible.
