RememberThisTech: Orange Pi 5 As Your Everyday Computer?
- armbian runs on the Orange Pi 5 and has a support forum.
- But the “modified Ubuntu OS” seems to be the best OS which runs on the Orange Pi 5 which would fit our needs.
If you do not want to use Raspberry`s anymore as soon as possible since we have lost our trust this company the the Orange Pi 5 is worth a testing.
- There are more and more features which run on the Orange Pi 5.
- And as usual, what is not shown, usually does not work.
- What we expected from the Pinephone, and that it is a Linux mini computer which slowly evolves, we found now with the Orange Pi 5.
- Pine 64 is dead for us personally after what we experienced with this company.
- And Raspberry Pi is for us a company, which only has a stock on eBay on which we trust.
- On the other hand, availability was never a problem with the Orange Pi 5.
