Why it is time to dump OpenBCI & and replace it with PiEEG?

OpenBCI is 10 years old and is the concept not outdated in the year 2024? We have alternatives like PiEEG with the issues we mentioned. But it seems that someone wnat to force us to buy OpenBCI from www.OpenBCI.com, since products from OpenBCI made in China have issues:

But not yet on the market. We have a huge diversity of EEG devices in th low cost segment and a huge amount of seller who want to sell those. But we do not believe that it is possible to increase prices for those anymore. This only hinders their developement.

The most mature developement is currently PiEEG which should be taken over by www.openbci.com and replace OpenBCI Cyton if possible, since it has most probably not the limitations and issues of OpenBCI Cyton:
