Pinephone developer Martin Braam had a first look at the PinePhone Keyboard:

Chris Titus Tech wanted use the PinePhone instead of Android or Apple, but then retreated from the Pinephone as well:
Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org wanted to use the Pinephone as his main computing platform to do physiological research about meditation:
But he found out that it is not the best device for this purpose.
- The main reason is that software installation is difficult.
- Hardly anyone seem to use it for such purposes.
- researchers often use the Raspberry Pi.
- Then he evualuated it as a contemporary QTEK 9000 replacement.
It is not suitable for this purpose since the Pinephone keyboard was pulled from the market and there is no alternative available.
- So he retreated from the Pinephone as well and has put it on his BLACKLIST:
