We cannot find somewhere that Rob publishes in detail his testing protocols. How long did he cycle outside at what speed? And what was the result of this test? Where can we find a table with all the necessary data to reproduce his tests? We cannot find these data anywhere.
Why does Rob do this? Assuming he would do this, a Rob ter Horst 2 could repeat his tests and eventually would have completely different results. Does Rob not publish these data to avoid this? Is this the procedure of a scientist or rather the procedure of a PhD. who makes a marketing show on YouTube to increase sales rates?
As we said before we do not know of a sustainable quality control of consumer grade heart rate monitors with clearly defined testing protocols which are published somewhere so that it could be reproduced.
Since this is not available does that mean that these consumer grade heart rate monitors deliver eventually data which partly cannot be reproduced or deliver not a quality of data which would interesting for scientist to use those as scientific tools?
