We had issues installing LibreOffice on the PinePhone. Does someone use LibreOffice on the PinePhone and on SBC’s? Report it in the comments below.
- alaraajavamma from the Pine64 forum installed LibreOffice on the PinePhone, and then used Abiword and Gnumeric:

- alaraajavamma uses a PinePhone Pro. She is a PinePhone expert who tested 15 different usb-c hubs and maybe one did not work with both PP and PPP:

- We installed both Abiword and Gnumeric on the PinePhone. Both apps looks simple, and have a simpler menu structure than LibreOffice. But is this not better for the PinePhone or SBCs?
- Abiword and Gnumeric are Word and Excel alternatives, and their development stopped about 10 years ago. Did it stop since LibreOffice was launched? Whatever, since Google killed the option to write to the external SD card on Android, and killed the option that we can plug in an Android phone via usb to use it as an external drive we suffer.
- The only option Google offers us is to sync our files to Google drive, what we want to.
Therefore we are evaluating Linux phones, SBCs, LibreOffice, Abiword and Gnumeric, until our problem which was caused by Google is solved.
