Which treadmill to choose for Buddhist monks & meditation researcher without a grant for research?

The Dalai asked Richard Davidson to study the effect of practicing meditation on body and brains of meditators with scientific methods, and if he finds out that it is helpful to make out if it a secular practice. and to spread it all over the world. We suppose that all or many Buddhist monks are interested in this topic as well as we are too. For Buddhist monks and meditation researchers with no grant for research we suggest to buy a used medical grade treadmill with broken motor, replace it with a new one, develop a new treadmill sensor:

and write a validation paper about it. We suppose that is the most cost-effective way to solve this problem. The risk is ther that prices for this used treadmill shoot up as a consequence. Therefore we should choose a treadmill from which a big number is available which can not be controlled by a marketing software.
