According to our own little experience PiEEG. Raspberry Pi’s where developed and sold by developers at the university level, and PiEEG as well. OpenBCI is similar to PiEEG but the architecture of OpenBCI is about 10 years old and the architecture of PiEEG is simpler than OpenBCI and according to our own little experience more suitable for new developments than OpenBCI.

We do not know of any products who use OpenBCI with InfluxDB. We suppose it is easier to use PiEEG with InfluxDB since to use PiEEG with InfluxDB is relatively simple. The simplest project to start with is for instance to run Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi and connect PiEEG with the offered Python code to Home Assistant:
