Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org previously has published that stock market speculations have been done with OpenBCI made in China products on Aliexpress and eBay. But Peter only experienced this with EEG caps. Later on the same EEG cap was introduced again at a lower price. First the EEG cap was sold on Aliexpress. After a positive review about it, the price was increased at Aliexpress. Then Peter Gamma complained about this. Then the EEG cap was relaunched on eBay at a lower price again.
Furthermore Peter said, OpenBCI made in China increased in price. This is not correct. Wifi shield sold on Aliexpress which eventually have issues dropped in price from a starting price of 150 USD to 100 USD or less.
Previously Peter did not find the cable version anymore which was sold for a starting price of 230 USD neither on eBay nor on Aliexpress. But he found it now again on Aliexpress. And the price has dropped from 230 USD to 200 USD.
OpenBCI modules on eBay and Aliexpress are sometimes switched on and off in shops. But the products which are switched off can be found all the same with google picture search. For instance if we are looking for the most affordable product from OpenBCI made in China, we find it best by looking by entering the terms:

into Google picture search. And then we find a list of pictures which show the OpenBCI cable version products which are sold on Aliexpress. Google picture search is one of the best ways to find OpenBCI made in China products on eBay and Aliexpress.
