- stellarpower tested a stacked openbci module in the www.openbci.com forum:
https://openbci.com/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/3502/cyton-wifi-packet-loss-noise-issues/p1
- He had no issues with the communication between openbci module and WIFI shield.
- But he took the whole module appart and worked after he has put it together again.
- But stellarpower had then issues with the wifi shield
- But there is an instruction available how to repair it:
- The second solution for stellarpower would be to replace the WIFI shield by one which is sold as repaired.
This means that in principle there are OpenBCI from China product out there with WIFI and 16 channel we can buy and we should be able to repair it. And that is the one stellarpower has used, from which we suppose it looked like this:
.
Tip of Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org:
Stellarpower used a complete module with WIFI shield and 16 channels. But unfortunately he had issues with the WIFI shield. But there are other OpenBCI made in China modules available which consist of an OpenBCI Cyton and a Daisy board. It is sold as a cable version. There we can add by ourselves a WIFI shield. And there are OpenBCI WIFI shields available from OpenBCI made in China which are sold as free from issues.
