Is there a failure in Richard R. Davidsons meditation research project?

Is asking: Did Richard R. Davidson did not listen to Dilgo Khyentse s profound advice?

Dilgo Khyentse meditated for 20 years of his life in solitary retreat and gave the following advice

Because unless we give up our
attachment to worldly matters and the
affairs of this life we will never
accomplish calm abiding and clear
seeing. So we should should completely
renounce all activities that are focused
on this present life and train in the
discipline of taming the Mind.

And gradually through clear
insight and the wisdom that realizes
selflessness on the basis of our
understanding experience and
realization we will reach the ultimate
stages of the path.

Did Richard Davidson not only meditate for 20 min a day and test the effect with a brain scanner? Isn that not close the nothing compared to what Dilgo Kihenze Rinpoche did? And we are also asking, did Richard R. Davidsons group publish many new papers in Nature, Science and PNAS (post Nature and Science) about this topic after the revolutionary paper from 2024?

There are some, but is this really a break-through in the field of meditation research for instance Matthieu Ricard was hoping for 20 years ago?

And look at Matthieu Ricard s face in the year 2024. Is this still the happiest man in the word?
