What makes Swiss costumers retreat from products based on the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments?

It starts with the support in the EEVBLOG:

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/how-to-solve-the-ti-ads1299-eeg-demo-kit-is-not-save-for-humans-problem

which is a challenge for physiologists from Switzerland.

And it ends when we look at the faces of ADS1299 EEG device developers:

The Neurosity Crown is based on the ADS1299:

The Mind Controlled Robot is based on the ADS1299:

That is why Peter Gamma from www.petergamna.org from Switzerland:

Turns toward products from Germany. And that is for instance Udo Berndts example with the Apple Health Auto Export app & Home Assistant & InfluxDB

Does Home Assistant developer Udo Berndt from Germany not look happier than the ADS1299 EEG device developers shown above?

And when we look at the development of Home Assistant in recent years, we ask ourselves, why is this not possible for physiological multi-sensor devices. HA is a multi-sensor device platform for house sensors. But is this really so different? Is eventually the goal of builders of multi-physiological multi-sensor devices to keep prices high? And most of the costumers are universities, from which it is possible to make a lot of money.

We will avoid YouTube in the future as much as possible. And find out about this questions here:

And if it is only four our private projects we do at home for fun in our spare time for less than two hours a day.
