20 years ago Richard Davidsons group published a paper in PNAS about meditation:
https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.0407401101
From which Matthieu Ricard said, it might be revolutionary, and he hoped that it would be pusblished in Nature. Later on, Matthieu Ricard, Buddhist monk with a PhD. in cellular genetics who participated in these studies gave further talks about this topic at the level of Nature papers:
But 20 years later, Richard Davison talks at Landguet Ried in Bern in Switzerland about what he has learned from his daily pracitice of meditation of 20 min. a day over the last 20 years:
Landguet Ried in Bern is not the place Nature papers usually talk, but the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. But Richard Davidson is not invited there to talk about mediation. Why not? Since he did not write Nature papers about meditation during the last 20 years?
Has Richard Davidson no grant for research to do research about meditation which lasts longer than 20 min. a day? And furthermore, is Richard Davison a spiritual teacher at the level of Shantideva, Milarepa or Dilgo Kihenze Rhinpoche? What is you opinion about this topic? Write it in the comments below.
