As in the example of the Radxa zero, we can see that although the hardware specifications of the device would allow the device to compete with the Pinephone pro, but it cannot compete due to a missing community who develops software for it or uses it at least.
Is this because the hardware is not open? The hardware of Pine64 products is open, which makes those devices interesting for developers. But for users like us, it is still difficult to find an ARM based device which fits for our needs.
Are Pine64 products hot sellers? But if not, they have at least a forum and a documentation which helps desperate people who usually don’t code to make small little steps.
