Arnaud explains this in this video:
«I think most of the meditation researchers who interested in this frontier topic,
they are interested in what it is that meditators experience in these states.
You can call it samadhi, you can call it enlightenment,
and that is a mental state you don’t experience every day.
It is a mental state where they have the experience to being connected to all things.
So, what happens in the brain, first?
In your chemistry, it is not a mental state you exerience every day.
And also is there any reality to that state?
Are we really connected to things,
Or have we just the impression of being connected to things.
All these questions are open.
Lot’s of people say we are close off,
it is just like an illusion in their brains,
that has been demonstrated.
But there is certainly data to support the alternative hypothesis.
So I think it is woth investigating.»
