A view years ago, Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.orgwrote many negative feedback about ant + sensors:
https://petergamma.org/category/ant
and ble sensors:
https://petergamma.org/category/ble-sensors
And suddently, the Adafruit Pyloton Open Source Bike Computer came onto the market:
Which was great.
But unfortunately only view scientists use smartwatches for scientific studies:
And are there other scientists than Rob ter Horst who uses smartwatches on a regular basis for scientifc tests?:
In recent years, we basically found only scientists who use 3 channel ECG devices who publish papers in high-quality scientific Journals. We found no scientists who use smartwatches to publish papers in high-quality sientific journals.
So we continue to give negative feedback about smartwatches and other devices as for instance EEG device with which we made negative experiences, as EEVBLOG founder David Jones from Sidney in Australia writes on his T-shirt that he only gives negative feedback:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidjoneselectronics/?originalSubdomain=au
And we contine to give negative feedback about ADS1299 products and other low-cost high-quality EEG products, until there is no reason to give negative feedback about those anymore. And we invite everybody to do the same.
This increases that chance that one day someone like Adafruit or someone else offers a low-cost high-quality EEG headset about which there is not reason to give negative feedback anymore.
