Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org would like to warn readers of this site from reviews on YouTube and in the web. He has reviewed many of these projects, and many did not fit for his needs. The projects which are published on YouTube and in the web or in popular scientific books are often not per-reviewed by someone, and that is risky. The risk is there that some of these projects have been given up by developers at the university level, and they are now published on YouTube and in the web.
And with some of these projects, we ask ourselves: are they of a higher quality than the products which are sold by VEDIA Switzerland?:
If you do not want to waist your time, ask yourself if it is not better to do your search at a university library as for instance in this one:
https://infozentrum.ethz.ch/en
There you eventually find databases which you do not find in the web. And some of them are free for access for all. And if you are a developer at the university level, and you have no permission anymore to get access to information which is only available for university members:
ask yourself if it is possible for you to associate with a researcher who works at an University.
as for instance
Prof. Dr. Thomas Knopfel
Chair Professor in the Department of Physics
Director of JC STEM laboratory of Neuronal Circuit Dynamics
Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU)
Professor Knöpfel research interest revolve around the fundamental question how the brain generates cognition and emotions. What defines as, from a natural science perspective, to be human? On the practical level, his experimental work make good use of the opportunities offered by optical imaging technologies and genetics. He actively collaborates with theoretical neuroscientists to unravel neuronal circuit mechanism.

- Prof. Knopfel writes on his site that he is accepting PhD Students & PhD projects:
https://scholars.hkbu.edu.hk/en/persons/TKNOPFEL
- within the field of expertise as indicated by publications of his lab (see orcid.org/0000-0002-5718-0765):
https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5718-076
And we know from Professor Dr. Thomas Knopfel that he was open in the past for co-operations with people who work on multi-disciplinary projects.
And if Honkong is not a place near to where you live, go and look for a research institute at your local university, and see if it is possible for you to associate with these researchers.
