This information can be found in the Mango Pi forum:
https://forum.mangopi.org/t/debian-image-available/1979
what works:
- to connect to a WIFI network
- USB-C to micro USB adapter
- mini-hub from from Pi zero
- (usb?) keyboard and mouse
- micro usb adapters as this one :
https://www.pishop.ca/product/ethernet-hub-and-usb-hub-w-micro-usb-otg-connector/
Issues Mango Pi MQ quat Debian users reported:
- nice little machine, but it misses a minimal image
- little configurable in Debian (no Armbian image from Mango Pi which would make better configurable)
- only some Mango Pi quatt SBCs are sold with USB-C-zu-A adapters, but not all
- James A. Chambers mentioned issues with Bluetooth in his review about the Mango Pi Pro running Ubuntu, he did not know how to get it to work:
https://jamesachambers.com/mangopi-mq-pro-d1-ubuntu-preview/
- He also tested tha Mango Pi quat running Debian:
https://jamesachambers.com/mango-pi-mq-quad-sbc-review/
- He did not mention Bluetooth in his review, so we still do not know if Bluetooth works with Debian or not.
Armbian would be better configurable, but:
- Armbian images do not boot on the device was reported by a user
- usb-c adapters seem to have issues with Armbian:
Source: user reports in the Mango Pi forum
Armbian works on the Mango Pi pro:
- Nico’D SBC made a YouTube review about it.
- Most software runs on armbian with the device, exept for browsers, but it’s performance is basic, even if we choose armbian to run on it.
