This are solution when you are looking for a cloud-free privacy phone to store your personal data.
But what about office mobile?
- Some recommend VIM for the Pinephone.
- Some recommend Abiword & Gnumeric.
- Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org has tested Abiword and Gnumeric on the Pinephone, and both work fine.
- Abiword is also available for Windows and Linux desktop PCs.
But Abiword and Gnumeric are limited. They are not developed further since 10 years, when LibreOffice was released. A main issue is for instance the lack of a lot of keyboard short cuts which would be very helpful to control these applications on a phone.
If we want a more powerful office solution on the Pinephone, it is eventually worth to try the following solution with LibreOffice:
