We made some posts in the EEVBLOG about how to make a Texas Instruments EEG board save for humans. Suddenly, a heated discussion in the EEVBLOG started about this topic.
We were irritated and confused about it. And we asked ourselves, if those all where Texas Instruments sellers who wanted to sell us EEG devices. We are experts in this field, and we know, that this is very difficult to sell EEG devices to someone.
The discussion there was not understandable and I complained. “We have to give you up”, was a comment of a poster. If you are a Texas Instruments seller who wants to sell us an EEG device than we can confirm this. You have to give us up, we will not buy any EEG devices from you.
Also an EEVBLOG moderator had a problem with us. He told us we should ask ourselves if we are at the right place in the EEVBLOG. If the EEVBLOG is a place for Texas Instruments sellers to sell EEG devices, then we are at the wrong place in the EEVBLOG. We do not have any plans to buy EEG devices from Texas Instruments. If the web is a place for Texas Instruments sellers to sell EEG devices, then the web is the wrong place for us either.
After that, new EEG devices appeared everywhere on the market. New devices could be bought on Aliexpress, others in the US which were very similar to OpenBCI, and new demo about EEG caps where available.
But we still do not have any plans to buy EEG products, and we know hardly of anyone, who buys those.
