If we look at the Unicorn Black EEG site by g.tec medical, we can find almost everything OpenBCI can and ever has done. Many applications and many projects are implemented from OpenBCI, but these are not developments by gtec medical, but projects which are copied from other projects. And the community which uses and develops these devices is very small. What can be seen on the Unicorn Black EEG site, looks for us personally like a device which integrated all brain computer interface projects which can be found in the web.
On the other hand, small puzzle stones for non-coders and simple coders slowly appear, as for instance how to inject .csv into InfluxDB in a way, that the timestamps are are synchronized. New instructions for simple developers like us appeared for instance from Paul Warren Eaton from Finland who is renovating his home, and showed us how to convert .csv files and import it into InfluxDB in Home Assistant in the .csv format.
The examples from Paul Warren Eaton took us a step further, but the Unicorn Black EEG devices appears to us, as if it was a device which we already know, and the only thing that is new about it is, that it is a device from g.tec medical.
We did not test the Unicorn Black EEG device, as Robert Oostenveld did it:
and we have no plan to do this and to use it, we did not even read the whole review of Robert Oostenveld about it. This is simply because there are other options available which are more attractive for us personally.
