The Sony PSP in 2023 – still worth it?

The Sony PSP we have discussed here:

But it is still available for instance on eBay. But is it worth it? A 10 year old device? Are there no newer alternatives which are better?

• The Sony PSP was about 1000 USD 10 years ago.
• It can now be bought used on eBay.
• othermod has build a carrier board for the CM4 which fits into the PSP,
• But is it not better to build a new device from scratch with components which are newly available and for instance a 3 d printed case?
