  • After many years of investigation about Linux phones I gave them up today.
  • I will choose an Android phones with GrapheneOS instead for privacy reasons.
  • Android phones with GrapheneOS can do anything I want.
  • I can have one phone with full privacy.
  • And another phone with Google apps to have the other apps I need
  • for instance TWINT, Softmaker Office, buying SBB tickets, etc.
  • all of this should work.
  • But I am still forced to use NextCloudPi for data synchronization to my PC.
  • This is almost as giving up after many years of investigation.
  • I am against servers if possible, and I am promoting encrypted SD cards for privacy reasons.
  • It is more handy to use.
  • The only device which could do that I know is the Pinephone.
  • But this requires the Pinephone Keybpoard to come back.
  • And also a community of software developers to do it.
  • I am a physiologist and I don t want to become a Pinephone soft- and hardware developer.

A solution which still is interesting for me personally are mobile devices based on the Raspberry Pi zero 2 w with Raspberry Pi OS and DietPi. 10 years of soft- and hardware development is something which makes Raspberry Pi’s superior to Linux phones:
