  • Why did Martijn Braam such a big effort to develop a special mini Pinephone keyboard?
  • And why does Pine64 sell a separate usb-c dock in their store and indicates with which Linux distros it works?
  • We tested 3 thirt party usb-c adapters. None of them worked:
  • Other tested 15 of those, most of them worked:

  • But what about Bluetooth and usb keyboards?
  • The Pinephone has solved to problem by a special Pinephone keyboards
  • Odroid has solved the problem by offering special usb and WIFI dongles, but they are not available anymore.
  • Wireless keyboard and mouse seem to work with the Odroid XU4a with a dongle, as this video shows, as well as WIFI:

  1. But for the Radxa zero we know from previous demo that.
  • one demo maker managed to attach Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to a device running Debian
  • another demo maker attached an usb keyboard to a laptop like device which looks like TRS80
  1. From the Orange Pi 5 we know that
  • an usb mouse works with the Orange Pi 5b with integrated Bluetooth, but not a keyboards
  • we do not know anything about how it is with usb keybard and mouse.
  1. What about the LattePanda devices?
  • on Windows, we suppose that Bluetooth works
  • but how is it about Linux?
  • Is Linux and keyboards and mouse not tricky, as the example with the Pinephone shows?
