Last Updated on September 19, 2022 by pg@petergamma.org

One of the key electronic components of our Institute is the new OpenBCI WIFI Shield. Since years, it is anounced:

but nothing happens. Also the Gerber files of the WIFI shield cannot be found:

Other instructions are very alive, like for instance the one from How to Electronics from India:

How to Electronics even finds companies who officially sponsor his Youtube videos and advertise in the video to Gerber files develop in their companies. But the OpenBCI WIFI shield seems to be dead.

Who is this Shirley from the OpenBCI forum responsible for the WIFI shield? Is she this one?

Here is also a Shirleys from OpenBCI:

There are many options to reach Shirleys from OpenBCI, but most seem to be dead. Here is an option left we can try:

We are really desperate, and do not know what to do. If nothing happens, it will take us a lot of work. Here are the options listed how we can create a multi Sensor InfluxDB device:

But OpenBCI and MQTT is more something for someone with good programming skills and for someone who loves soldering. If someone could write a How To instruction, this would ber very helpful.
